Sovini Property Services supporting initiative to encourage women into construction
We are proud to be supporting an initiative launched by The Sovini Group aimed at encouraging female students to consider a career in the construction industry.
The Construction Pathway is a week-long work experience programme providing an insight into the construction industry. Four students from Maricourt High School in Maghull enrolled on the pilot programme and spent three days working across multiple workstreams including gas, electrical and investment works.
The students also spent time with our Group partners Teal Scaffold and Carroll Build as part of the programme.
Abby, a Maricourt student enrolled on the Construction Pathway said: “I really enjoyed working on the different trades out in the field and visiting each of the sites. Everyone we worked alongside made us feel really welcome.”
