Sovini Property Services Gender Pay Gap 2025-26 reporting

Sovini Property Services are pleased to report their progress in addressing the Gender Pay Gap during 2025-26.

The Gender Pay Gap (as defined by the Office for National Statistics) is the percentage difference between average hourly earnings for men and women.

As of 5th April 2025, Sovini Property Services reports a mean pay gap of 4.58%, in favour of men, demonstrating significant progress in reducing the Gender Pay Gap from 2023 when it stood at 8.27%. The UK’s mean pay gap for full-time employees in 2025 is 10.9%.

Chloe Ellison, Group Head of Organisational Development, said:

“We are delighted that we have made such progress over the last couple of years within this male dominated industry. We celebrate diversity and recognise the achievements of all of our employees. We continue to work closely with schools to change the mind sets of young people and open up opportunities that they may not have previously considered”.

The UK’s national median gender pay gap is 12.8% (ONS, 2025). In comparison, Sovini Property Services reports a median gender pay gap of 14.95% as of 5th April 2025, demonstrating continued progress from the previous year’s figure of 18.66% in 2024.

Sovini Property Services continue to take positive steps towards equality of opportunity and reward. This is demonstrated through the following proactive initiatives:

* targeted attraction communications for women into Sovini Property Services technical/trade roles

* continuing to promote our Women in Construction Pathway

* embarking on a new partnership with Greenbank High School, a local all-girls school

* highlighting female ‘high achievers’ and supporting them with succession planning

* continuing with clear Equality, Diversity and Inclusion communications, both internally and externally

* providing guest speakers at key events highlighting females in construction and females in male dominated sectors

Building on these initiatives, Sovini Property Services will continue to strive to narrow the Gender Pay Gap, reduce inequalities across the board and champion the ‘levelling up agenda’ in the years ahead.
