Cancer support group receives facelift thanks to Sovini Property Services social value commitment
We have completed the refurbishment of Widnes & Runcorn Cancer Support Group as part of our commitment to social value through the Fusion21 framework.
The Fusion21 framework agreement provides a comprehensive mechanism through which clients can procure services necessary to support the delivery of their stock investment and maintenance programmes. As a social enterprise they work to achieve great outcomes in challenging circumstances – and are committed to helping communities thrive.
We secured a contract with Halton Housing through the Fusion 21 framework to deliver domestic heating installations on a planned end of year maintenance programme. Halton Housing initiated a working partnership between SPS and the Widnes & Runcorn Cancer Support Group in order to support their commitment to social value through Fusion 21.
Steven Parker, Director of Sovini Property Services said: “This was a great opportunity for SPS to give something back to the local community. We are fully committed to the social value partnership with Fusion 21 and are delighted we have been able to deliver this project alongside Halton Housing.”
Nicola Donoghue, from Widnes & Runcorn Cancer Support Group said: “We approached Sovini Property Services through their partnership with Halton Housing as we were in need of a refurbishment and due to limited funding we were looking for someone who could take on the project as part of their commitment to social value. We are delighted with the work that Sovini Property Services have done and we can’t thank them enough.”
Diane Major from Halton Housing said: “It is great to work alongside Sovini Property Services to deliver this project to a local charity as part of our shared commitment to social value through the Fusion 21 framework. The team did a fantastic job and have made a significant difference to the Widnes & Runcorm Cancer Support Group.”
